ABW Walks! 2025

 

Support Lebanon​

ABW Walks 2025 is in support of Lebanon and the relief work taking place at Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS).

​

Hyperinflation, currency devaluation, widespread unemployment, and a massive explosion in 2020 that devastated parts of Beirut have brought great hardship to Lebanon. The country is also home to one of the largest refugee populations per capita, with millions of Syrian refugees in desperate need.

ABTS has played a vital role in addressing these crises through:
 

1. Community Outreach

2. Theological Formation with Social Impact

3. Strategic Partnerships with local and international organizations.

Our financial support is essential to help ABTS continue its vital relief work and make a tangible difference in the lives of those who are suffering. Together, we can stand with Lebanon and empower ABTS to bring hope and restoration to communities in need.

ABW Walks! Week is May 2-8

​

Please send the funds you raise to the ABW Treasurer by May 16. Funds can be sent by e-transfer or by cheque to the ABW Treasurer. If you wish to send a cheque, please email abwtreasurer@hotmail.com for the mailing address.

Please make cheques payable to "Atlantic Baptist Women" and include “ABW Walks! 2025 - Lebanon” in the memo section.

 

Funds raised and sponsor sheets can also be brought to the walk table at the interMISSION conference.

​

Donations of $20 and above will be receipted if requested and a name and mailing address are provided.

​

An announcement of the total funds raised will be made during the interMISSION conference.
