Impacting Globally
Canadian Baptist Ministries
Atlantic Baptist Women supports Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) through prayers and finances. We partner with CBM to participate in global mission experiences.
CBM is a global mission organization committed to sharing God’s love through word and deed, and believes that God brings healing to a broken world through local churches. With over 140 years of experience, CBM has seen that words and deeds intertwined in Christian community work together to bear witness to God’s transforming grace. Together in partnership, CBM seeks to bring hope, healing and reconciliation to all people.
International Student Scholarship
As part of Canadian Baptist Women, ABW supports women who are furthering their academic education so that they may develop their leadership skills for ministry. Women from several countries have benefitted from this scholarship. Each of our Canadian Baptist Women’s organizations contributes to this fund. A short video featuring the current scholarship recipients can be found here.
International Leadership Development Fund
Through Canadian Baptist Women, ABW helps provide opportunity for women in leadership, who live in places other than North America, to engage in leadership development sessions such as conferences and workshops. Each of our Canadian Baptist Women’s organizations contributes to the International Leadership Development Fund.

Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer
Grants are given to support ministries to women and children in North America and around the world through our offerings.
Each year, Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer grants are given to Baptist ministries within North America through the offering given during the November Baptist Women’s World Day of prayer. In the Atlantic Provinces, Empowering Moms Support Group, a ministry of the Island Pregnancy Centre, received a grant in 2020.
When you give your offering during the Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer, you are helping young women in our region. Pray for the ministries, the leaders and the youth who will be helped. More information can be found on the Baptist Women of North America's website: www.bwna.today and the Baptist World Alliance women website: www.bwawomen.org.
